Lao newspaper highlights robust development of CPV
(VOVWORLD) - On Thursday The Pathet Lao newspaper featured a article called “The 13th National Congress marks the robust development of the Communist Party of Vietnam” on its front page.

It said the 13th National Party Congress marked an important milestone and created a prerequisite for following tenures national development strategies until 2030 and vision to 2045.
The article stated: “Over decades of challenges, the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation under the leadership of the Lao Revolutionary People’s Party and the Communist Party of Vietnam have been fostered and developed deeply, practically, and effectively in all areas, bringing practical benefits to the two countries’ peoples and for peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.”
The newspaper highlighted Vietnam’s economic achievements in the 2016-2019 period, maintenance of economic growth, and containment of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Vietnam has been praised by the world community for successfully achieving its dual goal. It said at the congress, delates will discuss and adopt a series of documents aiming to make Vietnam a developed socialist country.
