In her opening remarks, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan asked NA and Government agencies to closely coordinate in completing reports, draft resolutions and draft laws in time to submit them to the NA as the legislative body’s 10th session will open right after the NA Standing Committee concludes its 49th session.

The NA Standing Committee’s 49th session will last until Thursday, during which lawmakers are set to discuss the draft revised law on environmental protection and the law on export and import tariffs, a draft NA resolution on the settlement of problems relating to land for denfence and security purposes, and another NA resolution on the organisation of urban administration in Ho Chi Minh City.
