Leaders of other countries congratulate Vietnam on National Day
(VOVWORLD) - On the 73rd National Day of Vietnam, September 2, leaders of Myanmar, India, the US, the Republic of Korea, Japan, and Australia have sent congratulations to their Vietnamese counterparts.
Myanmar President Win Myint and State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi sent congratulatory messages to President Tran Dai Quang and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, They expressed their belief in the flourishing comprehensive partnership between the two countries for their common interests.
In their congratulations, Indian President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narenda Modi said Vietnam is an important pillar in India’s Act East policy. They said they believe that the bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership will continue to develop.
US President Donald Trump sent greetings to President Tran Dai Quang and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc. He said this year is a promising year for the US-Vietnam relations and he looks forward to working with the Vietnamese leaders to promote common priorities for the Indo-Pacific.
Australian Governor General Peter Cosgrove said in this congratulatory letter sent to President Tran Dai Quang that Austria treasures the relationship with Vietnam, which was stated in the declaration on the establishment of strategic partnership early this year.
Congratulating Vietnam on National Day, Republic of Korean President Moon Jae-in said he hopes both countries will hold diverse activities to develop bilateral ties and contribute to prosperity and happiness of the two peoples.
Japanese Emperor Akihito sent a congratulatory message to President Tran Dai Quang, wishing the President and Vietnamese people happiness and prosperity.
