List of 499 deputies of 15th National Assembly announced
(VOVWORLD) - A press conference was held in Hanoi on Thursday to announce the results of the NA election and the list of elected deputies. A list of 499 deputies elected to the 15th National Assembly was announced.

Speaking at the press conference, Tran Thanh Man, Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Election Council, said the elections were a great success adding that it was was carried out democratically, fairly, lawfully, safely, and economically with the voter turnout of 99.6%.
The preparation of personnel and campaigning for the elections were conducted in a democratic, open, and scientific manner while COVID-19 prevention measures being ensured. The success of the election reflects the combined strength of unity of the people and the political system under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the public trust in the regime, the Party, and the State.
Bui Van Cuong, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Election Council Office, said 500 deputies to the NA were elected but at its 6th session, the Council decided not to approve one deputy who failed to meet needed criteria,
