Made-in-VietnamCOVID-19 vaccine to cost 5 USD per dose
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam began clinical trials of a locally-made COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday. 30 volunteers were given an injection in the first hour.

The Military Academy of Medicine which implemented the trial said all the volunteers will be insured against any potential complications.
The second trial phase for the NanoCovax vaccine will be conducted from February to August next year on 400 to 600 volunteers aged 12 to 75.
Between 1,500 and 3,000 people will participate in the third trial phase, scheduled to take place from next August until February, 2022. The vaccine is expected to cost 5 USD per dose.
