Malaysian House Speaker visits Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Temple of Literature

(VOVWORLD) -Speaker of the House of Representatives of Malaysia Tan Sri Dato' Johari Bin Abdul, his spouse, and a delegation from the Malaysian lower house paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Hanoi on Wednesday.

They then visited the special national relic Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature) where they explored the history and development of the first university in Vietnam that has preserved and honored the country’s learning tradition. Built in 1070, the Temple of Literature has been a symbol of knowledge and education system of Vietnam.

The Malaysian top legislator’s official visit to Vietnam this week has an important role to play in consolidating and promoting the parliamentary relations between the Vietnamese National Assembly and the Malaysian parliament, contributing to enhancing the strategic partnership between the two countries.
