(VOVworld) – The Mekong Delta Culture and Tourism Week opened in Hanoi on Monday. The event is to respond to the National Tourism Year 2016 Phu Quoc - Mekong Delta organized by Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Mekong Delta’s localities.

The cultural week aims to promote tourism potentials and honor the region’s typical cultural values. The event attracts visitors with a variety of activities such as the exhibition “Colors of Culture and Tourism of the Mekong Delta”, traditional art performances, and the Mekong Delta’s specialties. The event will last until Thursday.
