Mexico opposes US sending National Guard to border
(VOVWORLD) - Mexico’s Senate on Wednesday issued a resolution criticizing US President Donald Trump’s order to send US National Guard to the US – Mexican border.
They also asked the Mexican government to halt cooperation with Washington in immigration and security issues and called Trump’s decision an insult. However, the Mexican Senate’s resolution is not compulsory and could not lead to changes in Mexico’s policies towards the US.
