(VOVworld) - The leaders of the United States, Russia, the UN, and the EU said they will try to persuade Israel and Palestine to resume peace talks with the support of Arab countries.

Following a meeting at the UN headquarters in New York, the EU’s high representative on Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, said the quartet will resume coordination with specific activities.
They emphasized that Israel and Palestine need to approve specific policies and actions illustrating their commitment to building trust and avoiding further tensions.
