(VOVworld)- On Monday, the Command Committee of Military Zone 7 of the Vietnam People’s Army and Battalion 70 of the Cambodian Royal Army Forces inaugurated two military establishments in the Kampong Speu province of Cambodia.

They were built with funding from Vietnam’s Military Zone 7. In his address, General Pol Saroeun, Commander in Chief of the Cambodian Royal Army Forces praised the support of Military Zone 7 and the Vietnamese Ministry of Defense saying that it had helped to strengthen Cambodia’s national security and defense. Under a protocol on military cooperation between the two countries’ Ministries of Defense, the Vietnam People’s Army will continue to provide the Cambodian Royal Army Forces with 4 million USD for basic construction activities.
