(VOVWORLD) - Leaders of Cambodia, Australia, and Mongolia have sent congratulatory letters and messages to General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong on his election as the State President of Vietnam.
Cambodia’s Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his belief that Party leader and President Trong’s vision, guidelines and untiring efforts will help Vietnam obtain greater achievements in national development.
Australia’s Governor-General Peter Cosgrove said Vietnam-Australia ties are strengthened through people-to-people exchanges, trade and economic cooperation, and many shared perceptions in responding to regional and global issues.
