The donors included Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his Deputies. Doksuri was the strongest storm to slash the central region in the past decade. It killed 6 people and injured 215 and caused material losses totaling more than 480 million USD.
As soon as the storm made landfall in the central region, Prime Minister Phuc shortened a working visit to the southern region to conduct a personal inspection and direct the recovery efforts. He worked with leaders of Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, ministries, and sectors to help people return their daily lives and production to normal.
