More than 200 reported injured in Japan quake

(VOVWORLD) - More than 200 people were injured in a 6.1-magnitude earthquake that struck Japan’s second-largest metropolis of Osaka and surrounding areas on Monday morning, public broadcaster NHK reported.

Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said at a press conference that at least three people including a 9-year-old girl died in the incident. The quake also damaged property, halted production, and caused disorder in the affected areas. There was no tsunami warning after the quake.
