(VOVWORLD) - 130 Vietnamese citizens flew home from Nigeria, Cameroon, and Malaysia on Wednesday and Thursday.

On Wednesday, 90 Vietnamese citizens in Nigeria and Cameroon, with support from the Vietnamese Embassy in Nigeria and local authorities, were brought to Lagos city, Nigeria, where they boarded a flight to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. On Thursday, with support from the Vietnamese Embassy in Malaysia, they and 40 Vietnamese workers stranded in Malaysia boarded a Vietnam Airlines flight back to Vietnam.

After landing at Tan Son Nhat international airport in Ho Chi Minh City, they were placed in quarantine. More repatriation flights are expected as the situation allows.
