The annual "Humanitarian Strength" program honors collectives and individuals for their contributions to humanitarian work, good deeds, and acts of kindness in the community, and mobilizes resources to take care of the poor and help them enjoy a happy Tet.

The Vietnam Red Cross Society is asking donors to join hands in organizing activities to help vulnerable people.

Bui Thi Hoa, Chairwoman of the Society, said, “A series of activities will be held to help people in difficult circumstances have a happy Tet and to provide physical and mental health care. This is the first time we have organized such a program which will be expanded throughout the society.”

The “Tet of Mercy 2023” movement will begin on January 1 and run through January 16. It’s target is to raise 24 million USD.
