Music festival of Central Highlands and southern provinces concludes (Photo: VOV)

(VOVworld) - The music of the Central Highlands was highlighted at a two-day music festival which ended Tuesday in Pleiku city, Gia Lai province. The festival introduced the latest musical works along with a workshop on ways to preserve and promote the local music industry. Do Hong Quan is Chairman of the Vietnam Musicians’ Association:
“Musicians closely associated with the Central Highlands have written music that harmoniously combines traditional and modern features. The jury board admired the creativity in music, lyrics, and performance reflected in the musicians’ efforts to turn their work into complete stage performances.”
The festival brought together about 200 song writers and performers from 19 cities and provinces.
