(VOVworld) - Myanmar President Htin Kyaw and his wife arrived in Hanoi Tuesday for a state-level visit to Vietnam from October 26-28 at the invitation of Vietnam’s President Tran Dai Quang.

The Myanmar President will attend the 8th Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Vietnam Summit (CLMV 8) and the 7th Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy Summit (ACMECS 7), and the World Economic Forum on Mekong (WEF – Mekong).
His visit aims to seek closer cooperation between Vietnam and Myanmar in banking, finance, tourism, and aviation.
