NA begins Q&A session today

(VOVWORLD) - The National Assembly begins the two-and-a-half-day question-and-answer session on Tuesday, focusing on four groups of issues of natural resources and environment, industry and trade, auditing, and culture, sports and tourism.

Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Dang Quoc Khanh is the first Government member to answer National Assembly deputies’ questions on issues of voter concern, relating to the management, exploitation, and protection of national marine resources; the implementation of policies and laws on water source security; solutions to prevent and combat drought, saltwater intrusion, and pollution of water sources; solutions to research, exploration, exploitation and use of mineral resources as construction materials and rare resources and minerals.

In the afternoon, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien will answer questions on the management, supervision, and protection of consumer rights in e-commerce activities; and solutions to boost export activities, promote the implementation of free trade agreements (FTAs) and remove difficulties for businesses amidst complicated and unpredictable world situations.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung, and Auditor General of the State Audit Office Ngo Van Tuan, will take the floor to answer the deputies’ questions on Wednesday. The Prime Minister is expected to clarify the issues and answer additional questions to be raised by the deputies on Thursday.

At the end of the morning session, a Government leader will clarify and answer questions from National Assembly deputies.

The Q&A session will be broadcast live on the national radio and television channel.
