Visiting Nga My, one of the communes hardest hit by flooding in Phu Binh district, Man underlined the need to mobilize forces and vehicles to support local residents in resuming normal life, and expressed his hope that local people will stay united in mutual support to deal with consequences together. The top legislator presented 200 gift packages to households affected by the storm in Phu Binh district.

Earlier, he expressed his sympathy with and encouragement to the Party Organization, administration and people of Thai Nguyen, calling on all people, soldiers, and the entire political system to join hands to urgently support victims to overcome the consequences of the storm and subsequent floods.

On this occasion, the NA Chairman handed over 1.2 million USD from the Central Relief Board of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee to Thai Nguyen to help the province to overcome the consequences of Typhoon Yagi and subsequent floods.
