(VOVworld) - National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung arrived in Washington D.C. on Sunday as part of his official visit to the US.

NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung visits the Vietnamese Embassy in the US

He held talks with staff of the Vietnamese embassy in the morning and repeated his visit’s contribution to deepening the bilateral comprehensive relations, especially between the two legislative bodies for mutual benefit and for peace and stability.
During his stay in Washington D.C., the Chairman is expected to meet Senate President pro tempore Patrick Leahy, Speaker of the House of Representatives, John Boehner, Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, John McCain, and US Secretary of State John Kerry.
