(VOVworld) – The National Assembly and people of Vietnam always hope to foster the strategic partnership with Indonesia for peace and prosperity in the region and the world, said Vietnamese National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung.

In a Monday meeting with Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives Setya Novanto, who is attending IPU-132 in Hanoi, Mr Hung said he hopes Vietnam and Indonesia will work closely to increase trade and maritime co-operation towards the completion of a Code of Conduct in the East Sea. The two sides agreed to increase delegation exchanges, experience sharing, and co-operation in overseeing the implementation of signed agreements.
