(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue on Thursday asked the State Audit to strengthen its role as a reputable and responsible public finance audit agency.

At a New Year meeting with the State Audit Office of Vietnam’s leaders and staff, Hue called on the agency to closely follow the National Assembly's oversight topics for this year, which include overseeing the real estate market, housing policies, the implementation of the National Assembly Resolution on fiscal and monetary policies to support the socio-economic recovery and development program, and the National Assembly resolutions on a number of national projects until the end of 2023.
Mr. Hue emphasized that the oversight work must be carried out in the spirit of promoting development, removing obstacles and difficulties, and taking transparency and publicity as the sharpest weapon of the State Audit.
