NA Chairman’s visit makes substantial contribution to Vietnam-China relationship

(VOVWORLD) -National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue on Friday afternoon arrived in Hanoi, successfully concluding his official visit to China at the invitation of Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China Zhao Leji.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Vu told reporters accompanying the NA Chairman about the visit outcomes.

He said the visit once again demonstrates a clear message about the consistent foreign policy of the Party and State of Vietnam that treasures the relationship with neighboring China.

The visit not only contributes to the cooperative relationship between the two legislative bodies but also to the overall relationship between the two Parties and the two countries in many fields, from politics, security-defense, substantial cooperation, especially in economics-trade, investment, transport connection, multilateral coordination, people-to-people exchanges, control and resolution of differences at sea.

According to the Deputy Foreign Minister, the China visit by National Assembly Chairman Hue continues to be a new step forward in the two countries' relations, demonstrating the legislature’s important, practical contributions to the overall development of relations between Vietnam and China.
