NA Chairwoman reiterates Vietnam’s active, responsible participation in parliamentary diplomacy
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam actively and responsibly participates in parliamentary diplomacy, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan said at the third Meeting of Speakers of Eurasian Countries’ Parliaments (MSEAP 3) in Antalya, Turkey, on Tuesday.

She said Vietnam is ready to support cooperation with the parliaments of Eurasian countries, share experience and information to help each other cope with global challenges, and to ensure peace, security and prosperity around the world.
Ms. Ngan said Vietnam continues its international integration and has signed a free trade agreement with the Eurasian Economic Union, the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), and the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). She added Vietnam hopes to cooperate more closely with Eurasian countries, particularly in digital technology, smart connectivity, and inclusive and sustainable development.
Ms. Ngan highlighted Vietnam’s support for the reform of global governance mechanisms toward greater equality, democracy, and efficiency, in line with changes in the balance of power and the increasing role of developing economies.
