National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan made the remarks while meeting with students of the Kazan Federal University on Monday as part of her ongoing Russian visit. She said that Vietnam encourages investment in education at all levels and vocational training to serve its national development and international integration. The Chairwoman added that she is looking forward to more cooperation and student exchanges between Vietnam’s educational institutes and Kazan Federal University.

Madam Ngan told Kazan students: “Lenin once said ‘Learn, learn more, learn forever’, which Vietnam’s education has been advocating for centuries. Education and training were of great concern to President Ho Chi Minh, whose thought ‘To reap a return in ten years, plant trees. To reap a return in 100, cultivate the people’ still resonates in our Party guidelines and State policies today.

"I hope that Vietnamese students studying at Kazan Federal University keep on acquiring knowledge in advanced science and technology and, at the same time, promote the Vietnamese culture to your friends. I also want Russian students to learn more about Vietnam’s culture and people and work as a bridge linking Vietnam and Russia.”
