(VOVworld) – The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Wednesday concluded the 50^th session after two days of meeting chaired by National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

The Standing Committee discussed the government report on the implementation of socio-economic tasks and state budget in the first half of the year and measures to fulfill the tasks set for the rest of the year.

Other issues under discussion included a draft program on the National Assembly and National Assembly Standing Committee’s supervisory work for 2017 and a law-making program for 2016.

The Standing Committee said preparations for the 1^st session of the 15^th National Assembly have been finalized.
