The exhibition, which marks the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, saw peak daily attendance of about one million visitors.
At a meeting of the exhibition steering committee in Hanoi on Thursday, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh said the event had resonated widely, showcasing the achievements of the Communist Party and State in wartime struggles, and national development and defense.

He assigned tasks to ministries and agencies for the closing ceremony, calling it more than just a formality. “This is a chance for us to take lessons from the exhibition and share its success. Thorough preparations are needed to ensure the closing ceremony is safe and cost-effective but reflects the national level,” said Mr. Chinh.
The closing ceremony will take place at 8 p.m. on Monday at the National Exposition Center in Hanoi and will be broadcast live on the Voice of Vietnam and Vietnam Television.
