(VOV) - National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung on Friday attended a Vietnam-Myanmar seminar on the application and development of information and technology in the financial and banking sectors.

Financial experts and representatives from the countries’ banks, credit institutions and IT businesses shared their experiences and discussed solutions for IT application in the financial and banking sectors as well as seeking investment cooperation opportunities. In his speech, Chairman Hung praised the Myanmar Government and agencies for facilitating Vietnamese investment, adding that the seminar would offer a wealth of opportunity for both nations to boost bilateral financial, banking and IT cooperation. Earlier, the Vietnamese chief legislator and his delegation visited the Shwedagon Golden Pagoda in Yangon to pray for good luck.

The same day, he left Yangon for Vietnam, concluding his official visit to Myanmar.
