Early enforcement of 2024 Land Law will stimulate national development

(VOVWORLD) - The Government last Friday adopted a resolution approving the proposal to bring the 2024 Land Law to life.

On the sidelines of the National Assembly’s ongoing 7th session in Hanoi, lawmakers said that once the law takes effect, it will unlock resources for national development.

Do Duc Duy, Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee and head of the provincial National Assembly delegation, said that the revised Land Law will remove bottlenecks and obstacles of the current law, contributing to promoting socio-economic development and facilitating the production.

“We appreciate the Government’s efforts and determination in quickly completing the guiding documents for implementing the Land Law and proposing that the law takes effect from July 1 this year instead of January 1, 2025,” said Duy.

The revised Land Law was promulgated after four National Assembly sessions and will soon come into effect.

It’s expected to remove difficulties in accessing land for production and trading, and attract investment, thus achieving socio-economic development targets and goals and ensuring practical benefits for the people.
