National Assembly Chairman pays Tet visit to Hau Giang

(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man on Sunday paid a Tet visit to Hau Giang province, where he presented 100 Tet gifts to policy households, poor and ethnic minority people in Chau Thanh A district, and soldiers in difficult circumstances.

Additionally, he provided gifts to 10 armed forces soldiers in difficult conditions.

On this occasion, the Chairman also witnessed the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) donating VND 500 million (approximately USD 20,000) to the Fatherland Front of Chau Thanh A district.

Highlighting the significance of 2025 as a year of major national milestones, Chairman Tran Thanh Man urged Hau Giang province to promote emulation movements at the provincial, district, and commune levels, aiming for a double-digit economic growth rate. He emphasized the importance of enhancing healthcare services by investing in commune health station infrastructure, deploying skilled doctors, and reducing the need for people to visit district or provincial hospitals.
He also called for strict adherence to the amended Law on Social Insurance, environmental protection, and ensuring social security and public order.

Earlier that morning, the Chairman and his delegation visited Giap Quan Thang Company, where they presented 100 Tet gifts to disadvantaged workers.
