(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan attended a ceremony on Tuesday (local time) at Revolution Square in Havana in memory of Cuban leader Fidel Castro. Present were Cuban Party and State leaders, about 60 delegations of foreign leaders, representatives from international and regional organizations, and more than a million Cuban people.

At the ceremony, Ms. Ngan once again offered deep condolences from the Vietnamese leaders and people to the Cuban leaders, people, and relatives of Mr. Castro:“With the passing of comrade Fidel Castro, the Cuban Communist Party, State, and people have lost a legendary leader, while the international communist and revolutionary movements have lost a courageous, undaunted and experienced leader. The Vietnamese Party, State and people have lost a faithful comrade and a close brother.”
Ms. Ngan reiterated the solidarity of Vietnamese leaders and people with Cuba’s communists and people, believing that Mr. Castro will live forever as part of Cuba’s revolutionary cause and in the hearts of fraternal nations worldwide.
