(VOVworld) – National Assembly deputies in the afternoon session on Wednesday discussed 5 draft laws on personal identification, household registration, nationality, army officers, and public security.

In the morning session, they discussed revisions to the law on civil aviation. Most deputies agreed that it was essential to increase the responsibility and authority of the aviation sector in line with international treaties and commitments and Vietnam’s constitution. Deputy Dang Ngoc Nghia from Thua Thien Hue province said: “Aviation security is of paramount importance. I suggest training an elite force to ensure security for airports. This force should be under the management of the ministry of transport rather than any agency or business.”

The deputies also heard the appraisal report of the revised Investment Law.
