National Assembly deputies meet voters

(VOVworld) – Politburo member and Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education Dinh The Huynh met with voters in the two districts of Da Bac and Ky Son in Hoa Binh province on Tuesday. Mr. Huynh said the revised Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam showed the Party and people’s will, affirming the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The Constitution highlights human rights, all the basic rights and obligations of the citizens, and brings into full play the people’s mastery in refining the State apparatus. Mr. Huynh asked Party Committees at all levels to communicate and publicize the Constitution’s contents to ensure that the Constitution is strictly abided by.

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh met with voters in Quang Ninh province on Wednesday to brief them on the outcomes of the 6th session of the 13th National Assembly. Minh highlighted the historic significance of the meeting in adopting the revised Constitution and 8 draft laws and resolutions including the Law on Citizen Reception, the revised Land Law and the Law on Practicing Thrift and Preventing Wastefulness. Minh said that the National Assembly had discussed 10 draft laws. He also informed voters on foreign affairs and emphasized the sector’s importance in Quang Ninh province’s socio-economic development. The voters expressed their hope that National Assembly deputies would fulfill their tasks as people’s representatives.

Politburo member and Minister of Public Security General Tran Dai Quang met with voters in Ninh Binh province on Tuesday. Senior Lieutenant General Do Ba Ty, Deputy Minister of National Defence and Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, talked to voters in Dien Bien province.
