(VOVworld) - The National Assembly Economic Committee met in Hanoi on Friday to review socio-economic development in quarter 1 of this year and map out plans for the following months. The committee chairman Nguyen Van Giau called for more efforts to improve the business environment, exports, market expansion and macro-economic stabilization to fuel growth. He said there should be a review of socialization plans in healthcare, education and transport to define the roles by state and private sectors. The committee recommendations will be submitted to ministries to complete their socio-economic reports to be discussed at the upcoming National Assembly session.
