National Assembly endorses state budget plan for next year
(VOVworld) - The National Assembly has voted to approve the state budget plan for next year. During their session on Friday, deputies agreed on a budget deficit projected at 178.3 trillion dong or 3.5% of the GDP.
They called for a rigorous fiscal plan in line with monetary policy to fuel production, stabilize the macro economy and control inflation. They asked for more inspection and solutions for smuggling, trade fraud, tax invasion and counterfeiting. The basic salary will be raised to 1.3 million dong per month by next January.
In the afternoon, deputies approved a resolution on amendments to agricultural land use tax reduction and exemption. They also discussed the revised bill on state compensations.
