(VOVworld)- Vice Head of the National Assembly’s Committee for Social Affairs Bui Si Loi has asked Ha Giang province to strengthen the implementation of the rapid and sustainable poverty reduction program. At a meeting with Ha Giang authorities on Tuesday, Loi stressed the need to mobilize all necessary resources to reduce poverty, especially for disadvantaged communes and combine poverty reduction with new rural development. He suggested the province cooperate with economic groups, state corporations and enterprises in assisting the poor. Loi said it was important to strengthen supervision of poverty reduction programs to ensure the effectiveness of state support and social security policies.
