The annual Awards are hosted by the Ministry of Information and Communications and organized by the Vietnam Publishers’ Association and the National Book Prize Council.

This year’s awards attracted 41 of 57 publishers in Vietnam with the entry of 312 book titles and book sets.

Ten B, 11 C, and 18 consolation prizes were also presented to other outstanding books which were in politics–economics; science and technology; social sciences and humanities; culture, literature and art; and children’s books.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Information and Communications presented Certificates of Merit to press agencies, publishing houses, and book businesses with outstanding achievements in communication, promotion, publishing, and distribution of large-volume books.
