National conference discusses implementation of Party Central Committee resolution
(VOVWORLD) - The implementation of the Resolution adopted at the 10th plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee topped the agenda of a national conference held on Sunday by the Politburo and the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat.

Delegates were informed of the Draft Political Report to be presented at the 14th National Party Congress scheduled for 2026, the Draft Report summarizing some theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renewal process in Vietnam over the past 40 years, and the Draft Report reviewing five years of implementing the 10-year Socio-economic Development Strategy until 2030.
Other topics included socio-economic development orientations and tasks until 2030, the investment policy for the transnational high-speed rail road, the establishment of centrally-run Hue City, Party building, and personnel affairs.

Party General Secretary and President To Lam urged promoting communication to secure a high consensus on the Resolution across the entire Party and society.
He stressed that the documents to be presented at the 14th National Party Congress must underline Vietnam’s aspiration to advance and contribute to the progress of the world’s revolution; the importance of the 14th Party Congress, a major political event that promotes comprehensive preparations for Vietnam to enter a new era of breakthrough development in all areas; and rapid and sustainable development.
