(VOVWORLD) -The 2023 HDBank National Futsal Championship kicked off on Sunday with a match between Thai Son Bac and Hanoi, which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang of Hanoi Club said he is satisfied for winning 1 point in the opening match.
“The match was very tough for our rookie Hanoi team, but the result was good for the first game of the season. Their enthusiasm and youth compensated for their inexperience. Before the match, I told the players that this would be their first opportunity to play for a national championship, so spirit and motivation would be of paramount importance," Hoang said.
In Nha Trang city, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa won 3 points by beating GFDI Song Han 3-0.
The 2023 HDBank National Futsal Championship is organized by the Voice of Vietnam and the Vietnam Football Federation. The first leg will run until April 18 and the return leg from June to August. 56 matches will be held in Hanoi, Da Nang, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City.
