National Press Festival packed with activities comes to a close

(VOVWORLD) -The three-day National Press Festival packed with vibrant, exciting activities ended on Sunday afternoon at the Hanoi Museum.

According to the organizers, this year’s festival, the biggest ever, had 87 booths displaying spring newspapers and press publications in 2022 and the first quarter of 2023, involving 63 provincial and municipal journalists associations and 60 press agencies nationwide.

The fair attracted thousands of public visits to watch special press publications, take part in multiple seminars on journalism, exchange with their favorite reporters and enjoy vibrant, attractive cultural and artistic activities.

The Organizing Committee presented four A prizes, 11 B prizes, 18 C prizes and 38 consolation prizes. Organizers also awarded the Impressive Pavilion and the Impression Prize and certificates of merit to the units that contributed to the success of the festival.

The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) won the Impressive Pavilion prize, A prize for Impressive New Year Radio-Television production and B prize for Impressive Electronic Interface.

The National Press Festival 2023 will dedicate all exhibited publications to the navy and border guards.
