This year, the south central province of Khanh Hoa welcomed 7.2 million tourists, up 13% from last year, including 3.6 million foreign visitors, up 28%, earning more than 1.1 billion USD.

Le Quang Tung, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, said: “Khanh Hoa province and other localities must continue to make full use of their advantages and potentials to make tourism develop sustainably and contribute to local economies. We should call for investment, strengthen cooperation with the government and private sectors, boost the role of strategic investors in developing infrastructure, and mobilize the community’s resources in tourism sustainable development.”

The National Tourism Year 2020 will be hosted by Ninh Binh province in the north.
