NATO Defense Ministers’ Meeting to discuss command structure
(VOVWORLD) - Ministers attending the NATO Defense Ministers’ Meeting in July will hold meetings in Wednesday and Thursday to discuss NATO’s command structure, fair-burden sharing, cooperation with the EU, and EU’s role in supporting stability and fighting terrorism.

They are expected to agree to establish a new Joint Force Command for the Atlantic, and a new support command to improve the rapid movement of troops and equipment within Europe.
The ministers will also discuss NATO’s deterrence and defense posture, and the Alliance’s role in maintaining stability and fighting terrorism.
