Nearly 240 Vietnamese in Myanmar brought home

(VOVWORLD) - A Vietjet Air flight on Thursday landed at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, repatriating nearly 240 Vietnamese nationals in Myanmar back home.

Upon arrival, all passengers and crew members were given health check and quarantined as regulated. The flight was arranged by relevant Vietnamese agencies, the Vietnamese Embassy in Myanmar, and the low-cost carrier VietJet. The passengers included the elderly, pregnant women, people with sickness, and other cases confronting difficult circumstances. Strict security, safety and hygiene measures were enforced during the flight to protect passengers’ health and prevent the spread of the disease.
