New COVID-19 cases exceed 3,000 for fourth consecutive day

(VOVWORLD) -The Ministry of Health said Vietnam recorded 3,195 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, the fourth day in a row that the number of new daily cases exceed 3,000. In 24 hours, 9,400 patients recovered.

Since the onset of the epidemic, Vietnam’s caseload has been 11,399,400, ranking 12th out of 227 countries and territories, while with the ratio of infections per million people, Vietnam ranks 112.

The death toll from COVID-19 is more than 43,000, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of infections.
