(VOVWORLD) -The Ministry of Health said on Friday that new COVID-19 cases decreased to 653 in 38 provinces and cities. An Giang province added 986 new cases.
In the past 24 hours, 9,351 recoveries were reported and there were no deaths.
Since the onset of the pandemic, Vietnam’s caseload has reached 10,742,234. The total number of recoveries are 9,637,275.
Vietnam has so far reported 43,084 deaths from COVID-19, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of cases.
