Next Syrian peace talks to be held in September
(VOVWORLD) - Russian Ambassador to the UN in Geneva Alexey Borodavkin said Saturday that discussions on reducing tensions in Syria have had positive impact on the opposition factions in Syria.

Borodavkin said the opposition factions withdrew their request that President Bashar al-Assad should go, and agreed on the need to reconnect with Damascus to reform Syria’s constitution. He added that the next round of Syrian peace talks will be held in early September.
