Nguyen Phu Trong re-elected Party General Secretary
(VOVWORLD) - The 13th Party Central Committee convened its first plenum in Hanoi on Sunday. The meeting elected the Party Politburo. Nguyen Phu Trong was re-elected the General Secretary of the 13th Party Central Committee.

The Party Secretariat comprises of some members of the Party Politburo assigned by the Party Politburo and 5 members elected at the Congress.

The Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission has 19 members. Tran Cam Tu was re-elected Chairperson of the Committee.
