Nigerian arrivals to Vietnam quarantined
(VOVworld) – 2 Nigerian passengers showing the Ebola symptom of fever when they arrived in Vietnam from Qatar on Tuesday were quarantined. The Pasteur Institute and the Ho Chi Minh City health department took them to the isolation ward of the Tropical Hospital for blood tests and treatment. No other symptoms of Ebola have been reported for these two passengers.

To prevent Ebola from spreading to Vietnam, the Ministry of Health has advised passengers sitting near the two Nigerian passengers on flight QR 964 to go to the nearest medical station to receive preventive treatment and tests. A list of passengers on board was sent to local authorities to be monitored for the next 21 days.
