According to Al Jazeera TV, Prime Minister Ali Mahaman Lamine Zeine said France is using its tools to destabilize the situation in Niger, but he did not give any evidence to support the allegation.

In another development, Al Jazeera TV reported that Nigeria's military government accepted the deadline set by French President Emmanuel Macron for withdrawing French troops from Niger.

Last week, President Macron announced a withdrawal of all French troops from Niger before the end of this year. The decision was made after thousands of protestors and Nigerian security forces gathered in Niger’s capital Niamey to protest the presence of French troops in Niger.
