(VOVworld) -  The south-central province of Ninh Thuan on Sunday marked the 20^th anniversary of re-establishment of the province and the 37^th liberation day. In 2010, the province’s GDP growth rate stood at 10.6% with increasing proportion of industry in the local economic structure. Total social investment rises 34% per year. Income per capital jumped 7 folds to 16 million VND or nearly 750 USD last year. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said:“The province needs to build and publicize detailed plans to attract investors. Facing promising opportunities in line with the Party and State policy on locating major national projects in the province, Ninh Thuan should boost its economic restructure and linkage with southern hubs to create breakthroughs, take better care of local people and narrow the development gap between regions and ethnicities.”
